The dome lights in my "new" 99 F250 have two switch positions. I'm assuming Off and Door. I'm also assuming I should be able to turn them On by using the dimmer switch on the dash. If I set the dome lights to Door, they will stay lit even when the doors are closed. I've already tried to spray WD-40 in the door latches, but that didn't help.

I remember seeing this question before for the same reason, a drive in. AFAIK, you can't turn them off. In my 2014, I have to turn off the lights that come on when the doors open to make sure the interior lights turn off. The small lights in the trunk usually stay in though. I have a 2016 and if you leave the trunk open they time out and turn
