The Volkswagen Golf Plus landed in UK dealerships in Spring 2005 to almost universal apathy, the standard hatchback model outselling it by a ratio of more than twenty to one. The Plus majored on the utility end of the engine line up, kicking off with the 80PS 1.4-litre petrol unit and a more advanced 115bhp 1.6-litre FSI unit.

Volkswagen Golf Plus 2.0 FSI TiptronicReview. 2008 Volkswagen Golf 2.0 is first presented in 2005 and proceeded in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Golf Golf 5 Plus is a 5 doors Sedan in C class / Medium car. Weight of the vehicle is 1477 kg with 533 liters trunk loading capacity. Golf Plus 2.0 FSI Tiptronic is powered by a 2,0 l Petrol engine.

As I understand it, the 3.2 in the A3 and the TT is the VR6 engine that is not FSI. The A4's 3.2 is the traditional V6 that DOES have the new FSI. FSI for both that 3.2 V6 and the 2.0T lack a lean-burn component of Fuel Stratified Ignition in the U.S. due to our less-clean gas.
A finely tuned fuel injection system with an oxygen sensor can maintain an air/fuel ratio within a close tolerance of .02 percent. Keeping the engine at the stoichiometric ratio (14.7:1 air/fuel ratio) helps the engine generate the most power with the least amount of emissions.

So after a few test runs of my Allroad 2.0tfsi I have some real life fuel figures. I did a 70km run in both directions - this includes some city, some urban and about 75% country decent roads driving. The fuel figures have come out at 7.9km/100km or 35.76mpg ( UK gallons).
